Battle of the Belts IX announces street fight for AEW Tag team titles in todays Wrestling news
Ricky Starks and Big Bill will face off against Chris Jericho and Sam Guevara
Next Saturday, the AEW Tag Teams titles will be on the line.
The AEW Tag Team Title match between Chris Jericho & Sam Guevara is set for next Saturday, immediately following Collision. The match was set on Saturday’s Collision with Big Bill issuing a challenge.
The Young Bucks won an AEW tag team title match at WrestleDream back in October. The Young Bucks lost their opportunity at Full Gear the following month to Jericho and Kenny Omega. The two were scheduled to have their Tag Team title bout at Worlds End in November, but Omega was forced out of action with diverticulitis shortly before the event.
Sammy Guevara reunited with Jericho and Le Sex Gods shortly after. He disassociated himself from Don Callis, reuniting him with Jericho. Jericho offered Guevara a chance to win the Tag Team title. The two then went on to defeat Bill, Starks Konosuke Takeshita and Will Hobbs in an eight-man match at Worlds End.
