Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa will also be featured on the WrestleMania Go-Home edition of SmackDown.
The annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be one of many matches and segments that will be featured on the WrestleMania40 go-home edition WWE SmackDown.
WWE announced during Friday’s SmackDown, that the 10th Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal would be held on Friday, April 5, SmackDown. The match has not yet been announced.
Since 2014, the Andre match has been held every year on WrestleMania Weekend with the exception 2020. From 2014 to 2019, the match was held at WrestleMania. Since 2021, it has been held each year on the last SmackDown episode before Mania.
Jey Uso, in addition to the Andre Battle Royal on SmackDown next week, will face his brother Solo Sikoa. According to a promo segment featuring Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso and Solo on Friday’s SmackDown, Sikoa was under Roman Reigns’ orders to take Jey down before his scheduled WrestleMania match against brother Jimmy Uso.
Kevin Owens will host Randy Orton at the KO Show next week on SmackDown before he challenges Logan Paul for the United States Championship in a three way match at WrestleMania.
New Catch Republic (Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne), who won their respective brackets at a WrestleMania qualifier tournament on Friday’s SmackDown episode, will face Grayson Waller and Austin Theory next Friday.
Zelina Vega of LWO vs. Elektra Lopez of Legado Del Fantasma is also scheduled for next week’s SmackDown after a brawl took place between their two groups on this week’s episode.
