Muhammad Ali has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Ali will join Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano and The U.S. Express as the inductees into the Class 2024.

The three-time World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Olympic gold medalist, was known for his charisma, confidence, and ability to back up his words inside the ropes.
Ali, also known as “The Greatest”, is a man whose influence goes beyond sports. His work as an artist, activist, and personality has made him one of the world’s most famous figures.
Ali, although best known for his boxing career, had a huge impact on the sports and entertainment world.
In 1976, Ali made his first foray in the world of sports entertainment when he fought Antonio Inoki in Japan. The match was also broadcast on 150 closed circuit venues in the United States.
Ali’s camp believed that the bout would be a ‘worked contest’, while Inoki did not. In the days before the event, several rule modifications were negotiated.
Inoki remained on his back for the majority of the match and repeatedly kicked Ali in the legs. Ali suffered blood clots in his legs and was unable to move them for the rest of his career. The fans were extremely negative and demanded a refund.
Ali was also the special referee of WrestleMania 1 in 1984. Ali would be the special outside enforcer, while Pat Patterson would officiate the action in the ring. Later, it was revealed that Ali’s Parkinson’s was advancing and they didn’t think he could referee the entire match.
Ali died on June 3, 2016 at the age 74.
