AJ Styles returns and attacks LA Knight in todays Wrestling news

Styles returned to SmackDown, and turned heel.

AJ Styles returned to SmackDown on last night, and he became a heel.

Styles made his first appearance in three months at the end of last night’s SmackDown. He helped Randy Orton, LA Knight and The Bloodline fight off The Bloodline. Styles then turned on Knight after The Bloodline had retreated and dropped him using a lariat.

Styles left the ring immediately after he defeated Knight, leaving Orton in a state of confusion.

Orton defeated Jimmy Uso last night in the main event. Knight, who had earlier in the show told Orton to stay out his way, helped Orton fight Solo Sikoa. Then, Roman Reigns and Jimmy attacked Orton and Knight, until Styles arrived.

Styles was last seen on SmackDown, September 22, when he was beaten by Bloodline. Styles was supposed team up with John Cena to face Sikoa & Jimi at Fastlane before that brutal beatdown. Knight took Styles’s place in the match. Knight then unsuccessfully challenged Reigns for Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Crown Jewel.

Reigns made his first WWE appearance last night since Crown Jewel. During an episode confrontation, Orton challenged Reigns for a Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match at the Royal Rumble. WWE has not yet made this title bout official.
