The 32-year old hasn’t wrestled in a while. He teamed up with Eddie Kingston to lose a match against Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli at AEW Collision on January 20.
He revealed that he is about to have surgery on Isiah’s vlog.
“I’m injured, man,” Ortiz said. “I’m going to have surgery in two weeks.”
“It was only from a clothesline.” “I tore my pec off a clothesline,” said he.
“I’ll be back in two weeks with a mullet, a mustache, and four months of recovery time.”
Later, Ortiz and Kassidy worked on commentary for Ethan Page’s Alpha-1 Wrestling Promotion in Hamilton, ON Canada. Ortiz was also a guest referee in the show.
Mike Santana revealed recently that Ortiz’s partner left AEW, after being with the company for over a year. Fightful Select reports that Ortiz could be returning to TNA Wrestling where he is a four-time tag team champion with Ortiz.
