Julia Hart, an AEW wrestler, has had surgery on her shoulder.
The former TBS Champion revealed that she had undergone surgery in a photo posted to her Instagram Stories on Thursday. She also posted a photo with the words, “Recover.” Rebuild. Reclaim.”
Hart lost the TBS Championship at AEW’s Dynasty Pay-per-View to Willow Nightingale. Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that the title match had to be cut short due Hart’s injury.
Julia Hart will be out of action for a little while after undergoing surgery on her left shoulder. The injury was sustained in the 4/10 match against Leyla Hirsch. She continued through the PPV with Willow Nightingale, where she lost her TBS title. The injury was the reason for the match being cut short
Hart is expected to be out of action until the late summer or early autumn of this year, according to PWInsider.
Hart, 22, is a part of House of Black with Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews in AEW. Her reign as TBS Champion was from November 2023 to April 2024.
