AEW is partnering with the Southland conference.
The company announced Monday that it will be partnering with the Southland Conference Tournaments to provide custom belts to the winners of the upcoming Southland Conference Tournaments in multiple sports. At every SLC Championship, custom belts will be awarded.
Dax Harwood of FTR and Cash Wheeler from Southland Football will be delivering a “special message” on Wednesday, 11 am ET, during the Southland Football Opening Drive.
According to a press release, the Southland Conference was formed in 1963 and consists of 12 schools located within a driving distance in Louisiana and Texas.
WWE has partnered with the NFL and MLB in order to produce custom belts for the winners of the Super Bowl, and World Series. WWE has recently entered into a licensing agreement with the NHL, which will see them produce Stanley Cup championship buckles to commemorate the Stanley Cup winner.
