AEW reveals the date & location of Revolution 2024 in todays Show_Type news

Sting’s last pro wrestling match will be at Revolution.

The date & venue for AEW Revolution have been announced.
Tony Schiavone announced that Revolution would take place at the Greensboro Coliseum, in North Carolina, on March 3. Sting announced in advance that his last match would take place at Revolution.

Schiavone mentioned that the Greensboro Coliseum in 1988 was the venue where Ric Flair defended the NWA World Championship in a 45-minute draw back at the Clash of the Champions. Sting and Ric Flair did promos. Sting thanked Flair for putting his name on the map, and agreed that the Greensboro Coliseum would be a fitting venue for his final match.
Flair said Sting was the one who made himself, and that his biggest moment will take place in Greensboro. He told Sting he would be honored to stand by his side.

Sting announced his resignation on the October 18, 2018 edition of Dynamite. Sting defeated Christian Cage, Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus in Full Gear with Adam Copeland and Darby Allin.
