Hobbs posted a message to X on Sunday expressing his frustration over the leg injury he sustained on Dynamite a month ago. He promised to bring the hell back when he returns.
He wrote:
Not sure what to say. We deal with injuries that happen. We recalibrate, we rebuild, we reinvent. The real test of a comeback is its ability to succeed. I’ve heard that I will come back as if nothing ever happened.
Why am I so angry? Why am I feeling so disappointed? This is all a bunch of bullshit. After any injury, nobody is the same. The only option is to come back stronger.
As I sit on this Island of Darkness I have thousands of unanswered questions. The doctors tells me not to worry. Just HEAL, and RESTORE. They don’t realize that this is nothing in comparison to what I’ve gone through. You can be sure that when I return, I will bring Hell with me.
Hobbs suffered a leg injury in the final moments of a match between Jon Moxley and the IWGP World Championship. He charged in the corner, but Moxley ducked and injured his leg. Moxley retained the title as the match ended.
