AEW music director: I knew the change in Elton John's Collision theme would be 'universally disliked' in todays Wrestling news

Fans tuning in to AEW Collision Saturday heard a new theme that was very different from the classic “Saturday Night’s Alright” by Elton John. The head of AEW Music said he knew the change would be “universally disliked.”

Mikey Rukus, the man who worked on “Red Light Is On” (Let’s Go), posted on X he expected there would be pushback.

“Hey guys. It’s okay. I knew it would be universally disliked. There is no upgrade from Elton. Change is inevitable. We tried a different cadence for the college/gogo. I knew that many people would not get it. It’s fine, I’m happy, and my team is too. “It’s not going to change,” he wrote.

Rukus said on X, that the song had been finished on Saturday. It should be available on Spotify in a few weeks.
