A title eliminator is set for AEW dynamite.
Tony Khan announced that Swerve Fletcher, the ROH Television champion, will face Swerve Fletcher on Thursday in a title elimination match. The match comes only days after Strickland beat Samoa Joe to win the AEW world championship for the first ever time at AEW Dynasty. Fletcher and Konosuke tookshita lost to Bryan Danielson & Claudio Castagnoli in Collision.
Khan wrote: “Will AEW’s Home Venue be Swerve’s House When ROH World TV Champion Kyle Fletcher Challenges the NEW AEW World Champion In an Eliminator TOMORROW?”
Anna Jay will face Stardom’s Mina Shirakawa in a second match. Shirakawa saved her friend Mariah from a fall in the Dynamite episode of April 10. Shirakawa grabbed two wine glasses after Jay left and the two enjoyed a drink. She kissed May at the end of the segment.
Chuck Taylor will issue an ultimatum either to Orange Cassidy, or Trent Beretta about who is his best friend after Beretta had told Taylor to choose at AEW Dynasty. Chris Jericho will also be speaking after his FTW Championship victory.
Willow Nightingale, the new TBS champion, will also be celebrating her title victory on Wednesday.
