AEW Dynamite adds Swerve Strickland vs. Roderick Strength World title match in todays Wrestling news
Wednesday’s Dynamite will include a match for the AEW Championship.
After Roderick strong defeated Lio Rush in Collision, he stormed backstage to Tony Khan, who was with Christopher Daniels. Strong stated that he wanted to face Swerve Strickland after defeating Rush so he could defend the AEW Championship at Forbidden Door. Khan agreed to the title fight for Wednesday’s Loveland, Colorado show.
Ospreay defeated Strong last weekend at Double or Nothing to win the International title. On Dynamite he won a Casino Gauntlet Match that earned him the opportunity to face the AEW World Champion on June 30 at Forbidden Doors.
Kris Statlander revealed on Collision she would be in action next week, but did not specify which show she will be wrestling on.
