AEW Dynamite adds Number One contender’s match in todays Wrestling news
Mariah May will face Thunder Rosa on Wednesday.
The number one contender for the next AEW Dynamite has been announced.
Mariah May and Thunder Rosa will face off, the top two wrestlers of the women’s division. The winner of this match will be the new number 1 contender for the AEW Women’s Championship currently held by Toni Storm. Toni Storm confronted her first May after the match was announced on Saturday’s Collision. She asked if she had come up with it. She kissed her and said it was a good plan.
Billy Gunn will challenge Jay White as well. Gunn challenged White on Collision, as The Acclaimed appeared for a promo. Max Caster told the Gunns that they should stay away from the ringside area if they believed White could win on his own.
Chris Jericho was also announced to “call out” Hook. Jericho offered advice to the FTW champion on Wednesday after Hook defeated him on Dynamite.
Next Wednesday’s Dynamite is being held at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. Here’s what’s been announced for the episode so far:
