Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision averaged 518,000 viewers on TNT, up 2.8 percent from the previous week. It’s the best audience total for the show since September 23.
Collision drew a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 14.3 percent from last week and ties the second-highest rating the show has done since August 17.
The show had the usual strong competition from college football, which dominated the cable charts, as well as the MLB National League Championship Series on TBS, which was the top non-football programming on TV with 4.6 million viewers and a 1.11 rating in the 18-49 demo.
Battle of the Belts VIII, which immediately followed Collision on TNT, averaged 397,000 viewers and drew a 0.13 rating in 18-49. That’s down 24.2 percent in overall viewers and down 13.3 percent in 18-49 from the previous episode that aired in July. It’s the second-lowest total audience of the eight Battle of the Belts specials that have aired to date and the fourth lowest 18-49 rating.
The last time both shows aired back to back on Saturday, Battle of the Belts retained 90.5 percent of the Collision lead-in with overall viewers and 75 percent of the 18-49 audience. This time, the show retained only 76.6 percent of the overall viewers but 81.3 percent of the 18-49 audience.
