Battle of the Belts X will feature a FTW title fight as part of the three-hour block of AEW on Saturday.
According to a post on social media by Tony Khan of AEW, Hook will defend the FTW against Shane Taylor in Battle of the Belts X, which takes place on Saturday, April 13th.
Hook & Chris Jericho have been involved in a feud between Taylor’s Shane Taylor Promotions and Hook & Chris Jericho. This included a match where Taylor, Anthony Ogogo, & Lee Moriarty beat Hook, Jericho, & Katsuyori Schibata on this week’s Dynamite.
The Battle of the Belts has already announced an international title eliminator match, featuring Rocky Romero and Roderick Strong, the International champion.
