The Royal Rampage is back this Friday.
Tony Khan announced that the battle royal would take place at Friday’s Rampage on X. The winner will receive a AEW World championship match at Grand Slam on September 25, at Arthur Ashe Stadium, New York.

The previous Royal Rampage was held in July last year. Darby Allin, who won the match and earned a TNT title shot by eliminating Swerve Strickland last, earned a TNT championship shot for All Out. In September, he was unsuccessful as Luchasaurus retained the title.
Royal Rampage is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, following the AEW Dynamite episode that will feature the annual Blood & Guts fight. The Young Bucks will face Swerve Strickland and The Acclaimed in this year’s match.
