Copeland challenged the team to Saturday’s Collision.

Adam Copeland hasn’t finished with Christian Cage.

Copeland, on Saturday’s Dynamite said that he had no excuses for his loss to Christian Cage in Dynamite. He said he should have prepared for any situation. He admitted that he missed carrying gold and wanted to add to his championship pedigree. He challenged Cage to a match with no disqualification at AEW’s Worlds End on 30 December, promising to become the TNT Champion.

Both had previously met in Montreal on the 6th December edition of AEW Dynamite. Shayna Wayne attacked Copeland, Nick Wayne’s mom, with the TNT Championship at the end of the match, allowing Cage cover him to win. Copeland gave Nick Wayne a conchairto before his mother in the November 22nd edition of Dynamite.

Copeland and Cage’s newfound rivalry dates back to Cage’s refusal to accept Copeland’s offer to reunite the tag team. Cage told Copeland, “Go f*** yourself”. Copeland then agreed to team up with Darby Allin, Sting, and Wayne at AEW Full Gear, last month, defeating Cage and Wayne, as well as the former Luchasaurus now known Killswitch
