Adam Cole will make his return to the ring on October 30th for the first time in over a calendar year.
Cole will face Buddy Matthews one-on-one next week. Matthews had challenged Cole and the two engaged in a backstage fight on this week’s Dynamite.
Cole will be playing his first match since September last year, when he injured his ankle after jumping off the stage during last year’s Dynamite Grand Slam.
The Cole match is one of the two new matches added to this week’s Dynamite episode for next Wednesday.
Private Party and Daniel Garcia defeated the Young Bucks and Jack Perry in this week’s Dynamite’s main event in a trios. Then, Private Party challenged the Young Bucks to another Tag Team Championship rematch with WrestleDream next week on Dynamite. The Bucks refused to accept the match until Isiah Kassidy suggested that Private Party would disband forever if they did not win the titles.
Swerve Strickland will face Shelton Benjamin next week, and Kamille will take on Kris Statlander.

- Adam Cole vs. Buddy Matthews
