Swerve Strickland signed a new contract at All Elite Wrestling.
Strickland signed the agreement on today’s AEW pre-show All In Zero Hour. The length and terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
In an interview conducted earlier this week, Strickland said that he is in a period of “re-negotiation”.
“Me winning AEW’s World Championship was phase 2, it was the beginning of phase 2. Right now, I am in the middle of a renegotiating stage because I really enjoy my status in AEW. I love everything about the locker rooms, the roster, talent and promotion. I love that I’m an important part of growing the company in different directions,” he told Barstool Sports.
Strickland made his debut in AEW during Revolution 2022. He was released by WWE in November 2021, after being with the company from April 2019.
