Swann was arrested on the night he tried to forcefully enter a home. A male resident called his father for help. The father grabbed his gun and told Swann to leave. Swann claimed that it was his home, but left when the father opened the door and showed him the gun.
The resident called police but later declined to press charges. Swann had already left the area when they arrived. The Post reported that Swann may have mistaken the apartment as his home because it is close to his actual address.
Swann was reportedly following and trying to speak to another woman as she picked up packages at her son’s home. She said that Swann was following and she locked the door after entering the house.
The police report described Swann’s behavior as incoherent, and that he appeared to be drunk. Hoskins said he could smell alcohol on Swann’s breath and that his eyes were glassy. His speech was also slurred.
