Michael Oku, the RevPro Undisputed British heavyweight Champion, made his promotional debut in a dark match on Wednesday amid rumors that he was going to sign a deal with AEW.
Oku, accompanied with girlfriend and manager Amira Blaik, defeated Serpentico before the Dynamite/Collision Doubleheader Taping in Cardiff, Wales. This was ahead of Sunday’s All In London from Wembley Stadium.
Oku is a friend and former opponent of AEW roster member Will Ospreay who takes on American/International Champion MJF this Sunday at the pay-per-view. Earlier this month Oku was defeated at a RevPro Event by MJF. Ospreay then made a surprise visit to chase MJF away after he had threatened to deliver a Tiger Driver 91 after laying Oku out.
Oku responded that although there is no confirmation between the two parties, he would not mind making his debut at Wembley Stadium. He said that it was cool that there were rumors and that people believed it could happen. He would also like to work for AEW.
