On September 1, No Mercy, Joe Hendry of TNA will face Ethan Page in a WWE NXT Championship match.
Hendry, with the help of Trick Williams, won a three-way contest between the top contenders on Tuesday’s WWE NXT show. This earned him a shot at Page’s NXT championship at Sunday’s No Mercy event.
Page was the commentator for the match between Pete Dunne, Wes Lee and the number one contender. Page interfered in the final stretch of the match, distracting referee while Hendry had Dunne pin. Williams then came to Hendry’s aid by hitting Dunne in the face with a Trick Shot while the referee was climbing back into the ring.
Zach Wentz attacked Lee after the match, as the two former tag-team partners are on a collision path for No Mercy.

- WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez defends against Jaida Parker
