In a new interview, Jade Cargill talked about her experiences as a working mother and a mother who works for WWE.
Cargill stated in interviews while she was working for AEW that the fact that AEW gave her more time to spend with her daughter was a major reason why she chose AEW in 2020 over WWE. Cargill, now with WWE, says that the company, and top executives like Paul “Triple H”, Levesque, and Nick Khan, are supportive when Cargill needs time to be with her family.
Cargill said
“Paul and his regime understand family. We can be at home and here for these special occasions, and if we cannot, then we can bring our family with us. One thing I tell my co-workers all the time is that this is a big deal. We have lives, we spend probably two, three days home, but we share ourselves to the WWE Universe.”
“I am a very active mom.” I love attending all of my daughter’s recitals. Today was her first day of school, but our company’s head is so brilliant that he knows that we must be there to witness these important moments. Today, for example, “Hey, my daughter has her first day of school. This is very important to us, I’d love to be there.” ‘Okay, I want you to attend your daughter’s school’s opening day, you don’t need to do XYZ.”
“I work for a company who understands that your family is the most important thing in your life. They care about your health and your mental (health). They make sure that we are available for the important things at your household. They know that you need to be there for your family. “I can say that Nick Khan and Paul and everyone else in the front desk, they put family first.”
Cargill was asked about Ricky Starks of AEW, whom she describes as her best friend in the business.
“I want what Ricky Starks desires. He’s a superstar in his own right. His work ethic is unmatched. He is just himself and his promo game is amazing. Cargill said, “He is my best friend within the industry.”
“We just collided.” We have great fashion sense, great ideas. We discuss everything. He’s in a great place right now, but I’m on board for whatever he is doing. He’s happy with where he is right now, and I’m happy to see him.”
