Wembley Stadium will host a mixed tag team match.
During AEW collision, it was announced that Willow Nightingale would team up with Tomohiro Ishii and take on Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway. This was after a Saturday in-ring segment.
Lexy Nair, after a video of Willow Nightingale revealing to Tomohiro ishii that she had a plan in mind for Wembley Stadium was shown, announced to Statlander & Hathaway inside the ring Nightingale’s mixed tag challenge for All In Zero Hour. Hathaway began to say that he would never do such a thing, but Statlander cut off his comments and accepted the match on August 25.
Nightingale has been feuding with Statlander since the events of Double or Nothing when Statlander turned against her former friend. Statlander defeated Nightingale on the July 31st edition of AEW Dynamite in what was a CMLL Women’s Championship Eliminator Match. This means Statlander will have a shot at Nightingale’s championship.
