Adam Pearce issued an official ruling on the Bronson Rollins and Seth Rollins incident that occurred last Monday.
Reed attacked Rollins during the show, delivering multiple Tsunamis from the top of the rope. Security was able to eventually pull Rollins away to safety. WWE announced on Sunday that Rollins would be out of the ring for “an unspecified amount of time” and Reed had been fined a “massive yet undisclosed sum of money.”
“Our medical team has informed me that Seth Rollins, in fact, has suffered several cracked ribs as well as internal brusing, and will be out of commission for an unspecified amount of time.” Bronson Reed was the reason for this last Monday’s Raw. He has been fined an undisclosed but massive amount of money. He has appealed it, and I don’t expect Mr. Reed to be happy if I deny his appeal.”
“Rollins has been cleared, but he is still a bit injured and trying to get into the best physical shape he can.” “His problems are chronic, but not to the point of being flagged. He is trying to stay on top of things and will be taking some time off. We don’t know if he will be back for the PPV, but if he does, it’s likely to be with Reed, and not [CM] Punk. This makes the Punk finish seem like a way to get Punk out of a match, and have him lose. They will no doubt get to Punk and Rollins at some stage.”
