Next month, a tournament to crown a champion in WWE’s women’s division will begin.
Triple H announced on Friday, September 4, at noon ET, that the tournament to crown WWE’s first-ever Speed Women’s Champion would begin.
“Time to take #WWESpeed to the next level… excited to announce the WWE Speed Women’s Championship Tournament, which will premiere exclusively on @X, Sept. 4, at 12pm ET/9am PT,” he wrote.
The short-form series premiered exclusively on X in April. Ricochet was crowned WWE Speed Champion the following month. He lost the title in June to the current champion Andrade before leaving the company.
