AEW Dynamite may have to change its plans due to travel issues.
Tony Khan revealed via social media that some wrestlers struggle to make it to the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum event in Winston-Salem tonight, despite everyone being advertised as either already present or on their way.
Khan says that he has waited to make further announcements about the show because of the difficult travel conditions in the region, where Tropical Storm Debby has had a major impact.
“With flight cancellations and AEW wrestlers struggling to get to #AEWDynamite this evening! Everyone announced for tonight’s event is either here or on their way! I’ve resisted making other announcements in anticipation of travel chaos + will make changes accordingly! “See you on TBS Tonight!”
MJF, scheduled to wrestle Kyle Fletcher this evening, said yesterday that he would be driving to the show because of flight cancellations.
“All flights to North Carolina were canceled, probably because no one would ever go to that garbage-state (not my America). MJF wrote to X: “But since I am an American Hero, and I have an oath to my country to kick Kyle Fletcher in the a**, I am driving 10.5 hour to give Will Ospreay a sneak preview of Wembley.”
Anthony Bowens revealed that The Acclaimed were “in the building.”
