Bronson Reed, who was not part of the WWE SummerSlam this past weekend, did his best to make sure that it won’t happen again by decimating Seth Rollins on WWE Raw.
Rollins, a subdued and serious man, came out to share his thoughts with CM Punk. Punk had called out Drew McIntyre on Raw for another match. He said that like Punk, he too was in a good mood, because after ten year, it was time for Punk to be thrown in the dirt.
McIntyre, who was in the crowd, appeared as the two were about fight to mock them both and show Punk his family bracelet. Punk then turned his attention away from Rollins to chase McIntyre through the stands.
Rollins was left alone in the ring, where Reed appeared from nowhere to lay him out. Rollins tried to fight back, but Reed hit Rollins with a Death Valley Driver followed by several sentons before two Tsunami Splashes from the top.
Reed was escorted out of the ring by officials and referees, but he returned and hit a Tsunami for a third time, a fourth, eigth, and sixth time. He then went back to the ring, where he teased another opponent before officials removed Rollins.
Michael Cole and Pat McAfee explained how Reed had said during the week he would make a public statement, and that’s exactly what he did.
The two have only ever shared the ring one time, in a six-way Elimination Chamber for the U.S. Title in 2023.
