Trish Stratus teased an upcoming WWE return in a recent interview she gave to Sports Illustrated.
A&E Biography will feature Stratus tonight on WWE Legends. She says that the episode gives a unique look at her life and includes moments she has never shared before.
She said, “It’s great to share behind-the scenes stuff that no one else knows.” “I can’t wait to show people the behind-the-scenes stuff.”
Becky Lynch defeated the 48-year old in a steel-cage match at WWE Payback, last September.
“Before leaving, I wanted to see that cage match,” said she. “SummerSlam is in a stadium so we wouldn’t be able to have the cage and we would only have 8-10 minutes.” So I was happy to be able to do it in a cage at Payback.”
Stratus teased that she hasn’t finished her career yet.
“Cody’s story isn’t the one that hasn’t been finished,” said Stratus. “It was great to be back in Toronto as a special Guest at Money in the Bank. Who knows, maybe I’ll keep going if I still can. I won’t half-assess it. “We’ll see if fans are interested in it and if it can influence another generations.”
Stratus also noted that Stark had unfinished business after Stark turned against her at Payback and ended their short-term partnership.
“I was delighted when Zoey was introduced,” said Stratus. “The opportunity to influence someone’s career is a great thing. She was a pleasure to work with, and she loved learning. There is more to my story with Zoey Stark.”
