Trent Beretta, AEW, has undergone neck surgery.
The 37-year old AEW star updated fans on his condition by posting a photo of his hospital room. He indicated that he had undergone a revision procedure after having first fused his neck in 2021.
Beretta has revealed that two screws from the first fusion had to be replaced.
Trent did not provide a timetable for his recovery.
He wrote:
“Quick little American neck surgery” It turns out that I wrestled so much that two screws from my neck fusion were broken. Very cool. Very cool. The screws have been replaced. “Next I will be doing my revenge.”
Last month, Orange Cassidy was credited with a wrench-like attack on Beretta’s former Best Friends stablemate. The two had been feuding since a while, including a Singles Match at Double or Nothing that Cassidy won in May.
Beretta, who had been a part of the Don Callis Family until later in the storyline with Cassidy, turned against him this April.
