Mone hasn’t wrestled since May.

Mercedes Mone uploaded a new video on her official YouTube channel Wednesday.

The 90-second video shows Mercedes Mone doing some in-ring exercises, running the ropes and participating in various drills. The description on YouTube says, “Mercedes Mone has returned to the ring.”

Mone hasn’t fought since May 21, when she suffered an ankle injury during NJPW Strong Resurgence. Willow Nightingale won the match that night and the NJPW Women’s Championship when an audible call was made after Mone sustained the injury.

Rocky Romero talked to WrestlePurists earlier this month about Mone, and when she may be able return.

I’m sorry, but I don’t know anything new. I hope to be speaking with her agent and maybe her soon-ish but I have no update about anything. The last thing I heard was that she is recovering well. They were going to contact me when she was close to a return. So, yeah. I’m not sure where we are.

Romero said that NJPW is still in communication with Mone, but he was unsure what she would do once cleared to return.

There is definitely still communication. I don’t really know what she will want to do after she returns. You know, especially after a serious injury. It may have messed with her plans and timeframes for what she wanted. So I couldn’t really say or speak for the girl, you know? I don’t believe it would be fair.
