Rollins joined The Authority in June 2014. Rollins was asked to reflect on that moment, more than a decade later, when he appeared on ESPN SportsCenter. Rollins said that he would not change anything, because it led him, Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley to the paths they are on today.

After their breakup The Shield later reunited, and had their last match as a three before Moxley joined AEW and left WWE in 2019.

Rollins’ SportsCenter interview was to promote SummerSlam where he will be the special referee for CMPunk vs. Drew McIntyre. This Saturday, the PLE will be held at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Reigns hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE championship at WrestleMania forty in April. Rhodes will defend the title at SummerSlam against Solo Sikoa.

Moxley has taken a break from AEW TV since losing the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Doors to Tetsuya Nairo in June.
