Bobby Lashley is expected to sign a new contract soon.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp said on Sunday that Lashley was no longer listed on the internal roster. Lashley’s name is still on the WWE roster page.
Lashley hasn’t wrestled since he defeated Santos Escobar at a houseshow in France on May 5. His last TV appearance was a loss in a three-way number 1 contendership match on SmackDown he lost the month before. In the storyline, Lashley had been forming a new group with The Street Profits, and B-Fab. They have continued to appear on television without explanation for Lashley’s absence.
Lashley, who left WWE in 2008, spent the next 10 years wrestling in TNA, and fighting in mixed martial art, with a current 6-1 record. Lashley returned to WWE in 2018 and has since won the WWE Championship twice. He is now known as “The All Mighty.”
