Alex Hammerstone surprised everyone by making a surprise return to the TNA Slammiversary on Saturday.
Santino Marella, the on-screen authority, announced during the preshow that he was bringing a surprise to everyone: Hammerstone vs. Eric Young, former TNA World champion. Hammerstone lost to Young, his first loss since April’s Rebellion when he lost to Josh Alexander.
Hammerstone’s final on-screen appearance occurred on TNA Impact on May 2nd, where he won a streetfight against Deaner. The former MLW champion was active in the independent scene during his absence, and recently filled in for Matt Cardona who was injured on an Australian tour. He was originally scheduled to compete in May’s Under Siege, but he was pulled from the event due to his medical clearance.

ABC can now call themselves TNA Tag Team Champions for the first time since march.
Ace Austin & Chris Bey defeated The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers), the incumbent champions, to start their third reign. They won after ABC hit a 1-2-Sweet to Myers, after Edwards attended to his wife Alisha after he had pulled Myers away from a Bey Art of Finesse, which she was hit with instead.
The ABC team is a little revengeful after Myers and Edwards won the March’s Sacrifice title, successfully defending it four times.

TNA has a new Digital Media Heavyweight Champion and International Heavyweight champion after PCO defeated AJ Francis. The win came after Francis had been chokeslammed on a pile chairs and then hit by a PCOsault.
PCO then proposed to Steph De Lander, a recent love interest. She accepted.
This is PCO’s very first title in TNA. Francis recently revived International Heavyweight Title after it had been defunct since 1987.

Rosemary returned to the promotion at the Knockouts title fight between champion Jordynne grace and Ash by Elegance.
The former Knockouts champion/Knockouts tag team champion ran off Ash’s second The Personal Concierge with a knife.
She has not been on TV since April’s Rebellion, but she did wrestle against Masha Slamovich during June’s television tapings. The match has yet to be aired.
