WWE has confirmed that another event will take place in Cleveland over the SummerSlam Weekend.
The company announced today Sami Zayn would host a comedy at The Agora Cleveland, on Friday, August 2. This is the day before SummerSlam. The show is called “Sami Zayn & Friends Do Cleveland”.
Zayn performed at the Netflix is a Joke Festival in Los Angeles in May, and in Toronto earlier this month during Money in the Bank Week.
“Sami Zayn and Friends Do Cleveland” is a comedy show that features guests from the worlds or comedy, television, and WWE. WWE announced that WWE Superstars Cody Rhodes, Bayley and Johnny Knoxville were among the guests at the debut show in Toronto.
The general public can purchase tickets this Wednesday, July 17 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. A pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday.
WWE announced that they are also selling a limited amount of meet-and greet tickets with Zayn after the show.
The Undertaker will perform a one-man performance at the Agora in Cleveland on August 3, the afternoon before SummerSlam.
Zayn will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Ilja Dragunov tonight on Raw. Zayn is expected to defend his title against Bron Breakker in a Triple Threat match with Dragunov at SummerSlam, either in a single-on-one or a triple-threat match.
SummerSlam will be held at the Cleveland Browns Stadium.
