After a brief stint with AEW Ric Flair seems to be done. The same goes for Wooooo! The energy deal that brought Ric Flair in the first place.

Fightful reported the latest developments Friday, stating that the company had no future creative plans to continue Flair.

“Those who have pointed to no “Wooooo!” graphics on the screen in recent times, that is a smart observation. Unless something changes, it doesn’t look like you’ll be seeing this going forward. It’s a good observation that you haven’t seen any “Energy” graphics on your screen in recent times. Unless something changes, I doubt that you will see them going forward. No explanation was given, but it looks like the deal is over unless something else changes.

Flair appeared first on a 2023 Dynamite edition in October to reunite Sting with Tony Khan as Tony Khan’s’special gift’ to the icon to lead up to his retirement run. A multi-year sponsorship agreement between Wooooo! On a November episode, Flair announced a deal with AEW and said he signed a 2-year contract.

Flair’s name has been in the media for other incidents and remarks in recent times. This includes a conflict that was well-publicized in a restaurant, and some comments he made against Eric Bischoff and Jim Herd as well as Vince Russo. He later walked these back.

The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions has begun work on a biopic of Flair’s career.

It’s not clear if the deal was terminated by mutual agreement or if other circumstances led to its failure.

Khan said in a subsequent interview that the deal paid for Flair’s performances and that “he is essentially paying (AEW).

Flair was a part of Sting’s final run before retirement, which took place in Greensboro NC, at the March’s Revolution. He was double-superkicked by The Young Bucks when Sting & Darby Allin defended their AEW Tag Team titles against the Bucks on that night, which saw Sting & Allin retain.
