On Thursday’s TNA Impact, the number one contenders’ match decided Mustafa Ali’s next opponent for the X-Division Championship.
“Speedball” Mike Bailey has won a triple-threat number one contenders match on Thursday’s Impact. He will now challenge Ali for the X-Division Title at Slammiversary, which is set for Saturday 20th July.
Bailey won the three way that also included KUSHIDA, Jonathan Gresham and pinned Gresham in order to earn the title shot.
Slammiversary has now officially announced five title bouts, including a Digital Media Championship match that became official after AJ Francis retained the gold against Rhino on Impact. Francis will defend his title against PCO on the July 20 pay per view.
