The identity of the wrestler behind the mask has been revealed less than a week following the first mystery vignette that aired on AEW Collision.
Luchablog confirmed that Bodyslam.net reported the news first, stating that Aramis was a former AAA wrestler.
The BodySlam Report stated that the deal was made over the past few weeks after the luchador and AAA could not agree on a new contract. It is not known when he will start working or if the name Hologram, which was mentioned in the vignette (Holo.grm), will be his official name.
The 25-year old has never worked for AEW or Ring of Honor before. He did have a stateside run of nine matches in MLW between 2021 and 2022.
When asked about the vignette on Wednesday, AEW’s Tony Khan tried to temper expectations. He said the man behind the disguise was someone he was “excited for, but it’s definitely not teasing the largest free agent signing or something like that.”
The identity of the AEW wrestler featured in a recent mystery vignette has been revealed in todays Wrestling news, Chatalong Chatbox, Results will be Hidden inside a spoiler Button so you will not bet spoiled about direct results.
