TNA’s Joe Hendry appeared as a surprise on Tuesday’s WWE NXT, serving as a mysterious partner for Trick Williams.
Hendry was announced as Williams’ surprise partner in the show’s main event on the Tuesday. The duo defeated Ethan Page and Shawn Spears by tag team action.
Page was chased out of the ring by Meta-Four’s Oro Mensah during the match as the storyline continues to unfold. Mensah is looking to avenge Noam’s injury caused by Page.
Hendry, who was left with Spears on his own to defend his team, won the match for his team by pinning him after a chokeslam.

Hendry was heavily teased in the advertising for Tuesday’s NXT Episode. Hendry’s clip was also shown at the end of Sunday’s NXT Heatwave.
The TNA star appeared in the number one contender’s NXT battle royal last month.
Hendry will be part of the six-way TNA World Title match at Slammiversary, on July 20, where he will compete against Moose and Moose, Steve Maclin, Josh Alexander and Nic Nemeth.
