Damon Kemp has left WWE.

Kemp, whose real name is Bobby Steveson, revealed Monday on X that he was now a free-agent.

He wrote: “As from today, I am no longer a WWE employee.” “I will always be grateful for the people and experiences I met.”

ightful reported Kemp’s contract wasn’t renewed by WWE, and that it isn’t part of the cuts.

Kemp was a member of No Quarter Catch Crew, along with Charlie Dempsey & Myles Borne. His last match took place on the latest episode of NXT, where he lost against Tavion Heights. The match stipulated that if Kemp loses, Heights will be added to the group.

Kemp is the younger brother of Olympic gold-medalist Gable Steveson. Gable was also signed by WWE before she was released in May. Gable and Kemp had a brief interaction in the company. Gable was in Eddy Thorpe’s corner when Kemp defeated him in a NXT Underground Match back in June last year.

Kemp, a high-level amateur wrestling from the University of Minnesota qualified for the NCAA tournament of 2017. In 2021 he signed a contract with WWE. He was introduced as the newest stable member of Roderick’s Diamond Mine. After the stable disbanded he went on a solo run before joining No Quarter Catch Crew.
