Chad Gable revealed that he had re-signed with WWE in a recent interview.
Gable signed his first contract with the company in 2013. In 2019, he signed a 5-year contract that expired recently. He revealed last month they had reached an agreement on a new contract to remain with WWE. However, the length of the deal has not been disclosed.
During an appearance on Cheap heat with Peter Rosenburg, Gable was asked about the timing for his contract negotiations.
Gable said, “The timing is unbelievable. I’ve thought about it so much.” He was referring to his contract expiring at the time it did. “These are the types of things that, when they happen, make you wonder if there is something to it, like someone was watching out for me, fate, or something else because the stars just lined up. It was too perfect.”
Gable said that he is a loyal person who wants to finish everything he starts. Just a few short years ago, finishing his WWE career looked very different.
“This is the place I want to be.” I’m like a loyal guy, right? So, I want to start somewhere and finish there. I want to complete anything I start. I’m so happy and lucky that finishing it now looks very different than it did a few years back, when it would have looked like fulfilling my contract because I wasn’t doing anything. Now, finishing it is about achieving things, winning championships, and leaving a legacy.
