Hangman Page is Back!
Page was The Elite’s pick for the wildcard in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, and returned to AEW Dynamite in-ring action. He defeated Jeff Jarrett by giving him a Deadeye. He will wrestle on Saturday’s AEW Collision where he will compete against Jay White in a semifinal tournament. The winner will face Bryan Danielson next week in the finals of AEW Dynamite, which takes place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The Young Bucks congratulated Hangman page backstage after the match and offered him a fifth spot in their next Blood and Guts Match. Page grabbed Matthew Jackson instead and told him he was no longer The Elite’s puppet and that he would focus on winning the Owen Hart Tournament. The Young Bucks, embarrassed by their actions, then ordered that the cameras be turned off.
Page took time off after AEW Revolution where he lost a three way match against Swerve and Samoa Joe, which was for the AEW World Title. The Young Bucks announced Page’s suspension from The Elite storyline shortly after.
