On Tuesday, Olympic gold medalist Tamyra Mesah Stock took part in NXT Level Up taped at the WWE Performance Center.
She wrestled Wren Sinclair in the show, performing under the name Tyra Steele.
Mensah Stock made her debut in the ring at a NXT houseshow on March 30, 2024. She defeated Breanna on the show.
The 30-year-old became the first Black woman to win gold at the Tokyo Olympics 2021 in women’s wrestling. She won the women’s freestyle competition for 68 kilograms. Mensah Stock signed with WWE in 2023. She reported to the WWE Performance Center in the summer of that year.
