Tony Khan was asked to comment on CM Punk’s WWE comeback during a media interview promoting the AEW All In 2020 tickets.

Punk returned to WWE on Saturday night at Survivor Series Chicago. The appearance was less than three month after Punk’s AEW deal was terminated for cause due to a backstage incident at All In 2023.

Steve Hermon, of BBC Radio West Midlands, asked Khan if he had been surprised to see Punk at Survivor Series.

Khan replied, “I can’t discuss that nor do I believe it’s the right time or place.” “But I appreciate your question, and I’m excited about AEW All in Wembley Stadium. It’s not that I don’t want to answer your question. It’s just that I cannot legally discuss it.

Punk’s Survivor Series appearance was his first WWE appearance since he left the company almost a decade earlier. Punk made an appearance after the WarGames men’s match on Saturday night.

WWE has confirmed Punk’s appearance on Monday night’s Survivor Series Fallout edition of Raw. WWE appears to be building a feud between Punk, the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Raw.

Today, the pre-sale of AEW All In Tickets began. The general public sale begins this Friday, December 1. The show will take place on August 25, 2020.
