Hikaru Shida is advancing in the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
Shida defeated Deonna purrazzo and pinned her after a katana kicked. Purrazzo jumped Shida after the match and continued the attack until Thunder Rosa came in to save the day.
Shida will now move on to the semi-finals where she will face the winner of the match between Mariah May vs Saraya, which will be held on Sunday’s Forbidden Doors Zero Hour pre show. On the other side, Willow Nightingale will face Kris Statlander on Dynamite’s Beach Break next week. Nightingale and Tam Nakano will also team up to face Momo Watanabe, Statlander, and the Forbidden Door Zero Hour before their match.
The Owen Hart Foundation winner will receive a Women’s title match at All In, which will take place on August 25, at Wembley Stadium.
Rosa and Purrazzo have been feuding for the past few months. Purrazzo won the match between the two on the 15th edition of Collision.
