The Bloodline has turned against Paul Heyman.
Heyman was assaulted by the group on Friday’s WWE SmackDown from Madison Square Garden, New York City, after the group’s ‘Wise Man’ refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa’s Tribal Chief.
Sikoa played a show-long storyline on Friday’s SmackDown, where he trolled WWE Hall of Famer Heyman. Sikoa claimed Heyman was his wise man and that he took Heyman’s advice and decided that Jacob Fatu is too dangerous to be a part of The Bloodline. He would not attend the Bloodline Recognition Ceremony.
The Bloodline concluded the show with Sikoa revealing he lied to Heyman, and Fatu had actually been at the arena during the ceremony. Sikoa acknowledged Tribal Chief status by all members of the group, from Tama Tonga to Tonga Loa to Fatu.
Sikoa asked Heyman to put the Ula Fala necklace of Roman Reigns on Sikoa, and to acknowledge Sikoa as Tribal Chief.
Heyman refused and was attacked by Tonga. Fatu landed a top-rope splash on Heyman, who was in the ring. Then all four members of the group smashed a powerbomb through the ringside announcement table.
The Friday angle with Heyman opens the door for Roman Reigns to return as a babyface and feud with the Bloodline, which is currently made up of Sikoa Tonga Loa and Fatu. Reigns is on hiatus after dropping the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania forty to Cody Rhodes.
Sikoa took control of The Bloodline without Reigns and even told Heyman, on last week’s SmackDown, that Reigns wouldn’t be returning to the storyline.
