Minoru Suzuki wants Chris Jericho.
Jericho showed on Dynamite a video in which he expected Minoru Suzuki to agree to team up with him and Big Bill to play at Forbidden Doors after Bryan Keith was injured. Suzuki revealed, however, that he did not want to team up with Jericho and smashed his Learning Tree persona. He challenged Jericho instead to a match for FTW Championship
The Learning Tree’s Forbidden Door rivals Samoa Joe and Hook appeared. Katsuyori shibata was also present. Shibata told Jericho to suck, and Jericho responded with a punch. A brawl ensued between Samoa Joe, Hook and the rest of the Forbidden Door opponents.
AEW on X confirmed on social media that the trios match is still on for AEW Forbidden Door on Sunday. It remains to be determined who will team up with Jericho, Big Bill and AEW Forbidden Door this Sunday.
Jericho has been feuding for the past few months with Hook and Shibata. He defeated Hook to win the title, and then defeated Hook and Shibata in a Triple or Nothing match, thanks to Keith, who was subsequently named the “bad apple” of the group.
