Noam Dar, the leader of Meta-Four, addressed his absence due to injury in a segment during Tuesday’s WWE NXT.
Dar revealed via FaceTime that he suffered a “torn tendons” in his leg. He attributed the injury to Ethan Page’s attack on the WWE NXT episode of May 28.
Dar was stabbed backstage in that show by an unknown attacker, who was later revealed to have been Page. Oro Mensah, Meta-Four’s Oro, has been targeting Page to exact revenge on Dar.
WWE has not released any information about the type of torn tendons Dar suffered or whether or not the injury is real.
Mensah gave a promo during the segment of Tuesday’s show, explaining his background.
Page was added to Heatwave’s NXT Championship match on July 7 after Tuesday’s WWE NXT.
