The NXT Championship Heatwave match is now a 4-way.
Shawn Spears defeated NXT champion Trick Williams in the NXT main event on Tuesday. Ava turned the Williams vs. Je’Von Evans title bout scheduled for July 7 in Toronto, into a four way match, adding Spears, and Ethan Page who defeated Evans last week.
The NXT Women’s Championship is also on the line. Lola Vice, the commentator, laid her out after Roxanne Perez defeated Karmen Petruvic on Tuesday and took Perez’s title. The NXT General manager confirmed Heatwave’s title match when Perez collected her title in Ava’s office.
Two more number one contenders have been crowned Tuesday. Sol Ruca defeated Arianna grace to earn a NXT Women’s North American Title match. In the show’s opener, Chase U defeated New Catch Republic to earn a match against Nathan Frazer and Axiom.
Oba Femi, who was in the crowd when Wes Lee defeated Joe Coffey and confirmed their North American championship match for next Saturday, appeared.
