Triple H: WWE will not have any issues with Netflix censoring crowd chants and promos in todays Wrestling news

Paul “Triple H Levesque” appeared on The Pat McAfee Show Monday.

WWE’s Chief content officer addressed the company’s 10 year, $5 billion TV right deal with Netflix during the show. He said that when Raw moves to the streaming services in January, some restrictions they deal with now on television won’t be an issue.

Levesque said, “Netflix has a completely new animal.” “It is a streaming service. How will commercials work? How will breaks work? How long are the breaks? What are the restrictions?” What are restrictions?

“As an example, we are on FOX. If the crowd chants, ‘holy sh*t’ or something worse, they simply remove the audio.” Sometimes they remove the picture and audio and it’s a black screen.”

“The Rock comes into the room and you can’t really tell The Rock what to say. What are we going tell him? So, he kind of does what he is doing. Netflix won’t cause us any problems.”

Levesque appeared Monday on McAfee’s show to promote the newly announced deal for Royal Rumble 2025, as well as a future WrestleMania & Royal Rumble in Indianapolis. Triple H said McAfee played a part in bringing these events to Indianapolis. McAfee spent eight seasons with the Indianapolis Colts as their punter.

Levesque told McAfee, “You’ve been a big advocate for all of these events coming to Indianapolis.”

He added later that “Indianapolis ought to be thanking Pat McAfee.” “When Pat walks off tonight (on Raw), everyone should stand up and praise him.”

There was another tease about a possible Wyatt Sicks assault during the show.

Levesque clarified that no one was murdered when the Wyatt Sicks debuted on Raw last Monday. Chad Gable was not shot to death during the segment.

Levesque said, “He’s fine.” “You watch things on TV, and it escalated very quickly. From Chad Gable lying down, he was obviously unconscious and had a little blood on him, to ‘Oh, my god, he was shot in the brain and he is dead.’ ‘”

“It is one of the best things about our fans, they love to be involved in the product, and in their minds, imagine where it could be, what it will be,” he said. “It’s a great part of what we do.” We have to remind ourselves that Chad Gable, for example, is still alive.

Gable will wrestle in a Money in the Bank qualifier on tonight’s Raw.

Levesque concluded the show by discussing the latest updates on The Bloodline. This included Jacob Fatu’s debut in Friday’s SmackDown.

Levesque called Fatu a “game changer”.

“Let’s see if Heyman’s nerves will last until Roman Reigns returns, because Heyman looks like he is on the verge of breaking,” he continued.
